Recorded at DNA Studio, Chicago
Engineered by Dave Allard

Dave Nathan Allard studios. What a trip this guy is. He’s a bass player so I always had that to talk to him about. He owns many basses and has played in many bands and has played many shows. He has a picture that was blown up to poster size of himself playing a clear bass at a show he said was some Chicago type fest. It’s an outdoor stage. It looks very sunny and nice. He is wearing a Bulls jersey and has a huge smile on his face. That picture is burned into my brain so much. I wish I could steal it. Better yet, I wish it was me in the poster.Anyways, recording with Dave was always crazy. Williams would put his amp in the laundry room which was 2 rooms away. My bass amp would be in the room that Williams and I played in but in the corner behind a padded wall And Rob was in this little booth Dave had set up in the corner. We could see him thru a window. His cymbals would usually hit the padded walls cuz it was such a tight fit in there and was like a sweat box so Rob would come out soaked and lacking oxygen.

Dave had his board set up pretty nice with a rack of other equipment. He had a bunch of lil toys all over the board and on his shelf speakers. There were 2 chairs and a stool right in the soundboard room. Then beyond that room was the laundry room. The bathroom was down a lil hall but it was real dirty and u wouldn’t want to take a shit in it. I think it was missing the seat or something. We’d smoke bowls right outside of the bathroom in that basement hallway. Getting high with Dave was always fun. I’d try to get him talking about the old days or music he listened to or whatever.

And he had a bunch of the originally Star Wars toys so I was always excited about checking those out.
